Glad the rumors Pace was staying were false... need a clean slate. No point hiring a new coach, firing Pace a year from now and then risk a weird GM/coach relationship.

Nagy was named NFL Coach of the Year after his first season in 2018, when he led the Bears to a 12-4 record and reached the playoffs for the first time in eight years.

It is crazy to think three years later he is fired. I wonder what changed?

Nagy is a nice man by all accounts but he wasn’t good at his job

Ryan Pace record 48-65. Picked mitch trubisky over Patrick mahomes and Deshaun Watson. Couldn't pick coaches any better.

Good. Now go after Flores, since the Dolphins made a stupid movie and fired him.

May be unpopular opinion, but I'm much happier to see Pace go than Nagy. Sure, Nagy wasn't very good, but I wouldn't have expected any HC to do diddly squat with the team Pace has been putting together year in and year out.

Take it from someone who bleeds green and gold while living amongst you all: the winningest coach in Bears history is STILL George Halas. That DNA didn't make the trip. Cut off the bloodline and start anew.
