Given how much he's been traveling recently, I'm surprised it took this long. That said, as someone who just had it a couple of weeks ago, I'd rather have caught it now than 1-2 years ago.

Hope he's fine. He should be because he is vaccinated and boosted like a rational person. He is morbidly obese though and that's the one factor he has going against him.
