Lightfoot Facing Criticism After Email to CPS Students Asking for ‘Externs' to ‘Help Lightfoot Win'

This is nothing new. I was a CPS student in the 80's and all the local politicians would go to the school to get kids to put up signs and go door to door for them on Saturdays. The school not only allowed it, they encouraged it. Teachers would give us "extra credit".

Manipulative and unethical. I'm a HS teacher and if a local politician did this, it would probably flip my vote away from them.

Of the remaining candidates, can someone please tell me who has the best policies for reducing the crime in Chicago?

I honestly am going to be a single issue voter this time. Whoever has the most convincing plan to tackle crime gets my vote.

I’m supporting Brandon Johnson. He has a strong stance on key issues that align with my beliefs. He also has the backing of other progressives in Chicago and orgs like CTU

I definitely won't make the mistake of voting for this clown again.

This really isn't the scandal people want it to be, this is standard campaign stuff. They got a flyer in their inbox.

This should immediately disqualify her from public office. This is absolute insanity
