The city has got to start seizing these trucks or something, all these laws they keep putting in place dont matter if its just a slap on the wrist.

The dude violated state law three times in regards to the tow, including not being registered with the state which Lincoln Towing did or should have known. Brandished a firearm while breaking the law, and was charged with a assault.

Yet the operator gets only $1500 in fines and the dude whose car was illegally towed still has to pay Lincoln Towing $200. This is straight up negligence on the owners of the truck.

$1,500 in fines is a complete joke. If the city/​state actually cared about making towing companies abide by the law, the fine wouldn’t be less than a quarter day’s revenue. I bet they don’t even end up paying it
