Shoplifters hit TJ Maxx in Granada Hills in brazen crime captured on video
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two unidentified suspects entered the store between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. and grabbed dozens of items each. The pair was captured on bystander video leaving the store without paying and the LAPD later...
I remember last year stating on this sub if people break the law they should have repercussions. And got downvoted. Thieves are shameless because the consequences are so minimal. Between store thefts and catalysts converters being stolen - when are you guys going to realize people are selfish and will take advantage of the "the system" (lack thereof).
Perps made off with $7.39 worth of merchandise. Their risk\reward matrix is totally busted.
"They did nothing wrong. They were good kids going to school. They were targeted." Fuck trash.
Although yes the items may not be exactly “luxury” and I’m sure the ding on the corporate profits are negligible, it’s just infuriating to everyone else that plays by the rules. There are so many people who aren’t well off financially but they work their asses off to make an honest living and then they see this. I find it as the equivalent of standing in a long ass line and people cutting at the front.
Don't know why anyone would find this surprising. Prop 47 passed with more than 50%. CA voters wanted this.
Why steal from TJ Maxx their stuff is low quality and basically free.
You can't even get away with this in 3rd world countries! People talk about the cost / benefit, but this will just keep escalating. It seems that mainly large corps are dealing with this now, but what happens when it starts happening to small business owners with thin margins? Eventually, why not go behind the register and steal the cash? It's anarchy, pure and simple.
I’m absolutely shocked. I would have never guessed that decriminalizing most theft along with a psycho liberal DA who won’t prosecute anything would lead to this!
That wouldn’t happen if Target Asset Protection has anything to say about it!
It's a culture thing. They obviously didn't get whooped enough or at all as kids
