Chaotic day for some students returning after 5 days of canceled classes

In some buildings, particularly the city’s largest high schools, dozens of teachers were either out sick or quarantining because of an exposure, leaving classes packed into auditoriums.

I hope every single person bashing CTU reads this article. Students crammed into auditoriums because almost 40 teachers are out in one school with only 9 substitutes to cover them, pipes bursting and flooding entire floors, CPS teachers got screwed and both they and the kids in the district are paying for it.

I'm hearing there is a walk out tomorrow by the students. I honestly don't blame them. If it's unsafe it's unsafe. Can't control humans this is not a dictatorship. If they want to leave let them.

If only there was a group of people who had their finger on the pulse of this situation the whole time. Someone who could have voiced their collective concern and presented some solutions. They would have gotten a good reception and been loved by the population right?!
Support the CTU.
