I had to go to Cedars' ER a few years ago. Took awhile to get seen but once I was, the care was fantastic. I had a very high heart rate. They checked and prodded and scanned. I got my own room. The nurses were super nice. I was a little freaked that I was having a heart issue and they really made me feel safe. Turned out to be nothing and was sent home the next day. No copay (Thanks Obamacare).
Then I had a major surgery there. All my doctors are in the Cedars network and can see each others data. Again my own room. Fantastic care. I was kept for 5 days. Honestly the best hospital experience. Not that I have that much to compare this to.
Cedars Sinai is a shithole, ucla is great. I’ve had experience in both (med school and residency)
I'll bend over backwards to keep a health insurance plan with UCLA Health. They've been amazing for my family even with an HMO.
Good to hear.
This reminds me that my sister was a candy striper at Cedars years ago. I wonder if that's still a thing these days.
