I dont like Bass very much, but I'm happy to watch Caruso burn his 100 million dollars. Sometimes the rich prick learning he cant buy city hall is worth it.

Don’t know either of them personally, but I did have a recruiter at Caruso’s corporate/commercial company try to recruit me during pandemic to work on one of their IT systems. Required everyone to come in everyday and wear a business suit, because that’s how Caruso expected everyone to show up at work. Seemed out of touch with the times to me…wonder how true that is in other facets of how he runs things

$100m to look like a chode in front of the whole city

Regardless of your thoughts on either of these two candidates, it's a good sign for our democracy that a semi-famous non-politician can't simply buy a mayorship in this city with $100 million of their own money

People can smell Caruso from afar. No one in their right mind would promise to fix homelessness then spend 100 million to campaign. He could have used that money to help the homeless.

Am I tripping or did the 2020 election also take this long?

Great job LA voting for Bass who will continue the path to make LA even worse than it already is. Look out San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, LA is looking to top you all.

100 million dollars and not one unit of affordable housing built. Caruso spends that money on homeless shelters instead of lame ads and he would have easily won.

IF Caruso HAD spent 50mil, on an ACTUAL solution/project..and another 50 million telling everyone about it..maybe he could have "won?"
but just like the trump-
the trump- inner city clinics
the trump- cancer research center
the trump- space observatory
the trump- theatre for the endowment of the arts
the trump- large hadron collider
the trump- hospital
the trump- elementary school
ohhh wait never mind..there were ONLY
casino, magazine, airline, water, vodka, steaks, hotels..all bankrupted..
mY point is that HE COULD have been a "hero" but he was to busy, tryn to be "cooL-bRo check out my yacht sometime"
so, Caruso is a billionaire? DO SOMTHING for society maybe? for ZERO "return" on expectations!! is there going to be X-mass "bonuses" for all the employees of "the grove?" people lose elections all the time, now, how one handles that.. well, lets just say Kari Lake havin a "rough" time of it in AZ.. lol. is caruso going to "play the victim" card?

Caruso spending over 100 million dollars of his own money, only to lose 😂

Not crazy about either BUT I’d rather not see another rich fuck sham their way into an office again.

….In other news, People who live in Los Angeles actually like living in slums

Yes! And shame on DINOs like Caruso who are just looking to go the Sinema route and milk the position for personal power and influence instead of what the Progressive Dems really want.
And here are the celebs who endorse Caruso. You might hear yourself saying “that figures” a lot: Katy Perry, Chris Pratt, Elon Musk, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kim Kardashian, George Lopez, Snoop Dogg, Katharine McPhee, Scooter Braun (who bought up Taylor Swift’s original song recordings against her wishes), Netflix exec Ted Sarandos, and Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel.

Kind of sad that in the city of almost 4 million people only about 700k bothered to vote for who the mayor will be

YESSSS!!! If Karen Bass wins, that'll show Caruso, his sycophants, these rich Hollywood types and those who don't want a Black woman to lead this city, that a lying shady, fake Democrat billionaire can't buy this office! #KarenBassForMayor

Bass is not the mayor we need. She will do nothing for LA.

Bass is gross and she will do nothing for Los Angeles.

Nail in the coffin of California. Grift capitol of the US.

Love Karen! For a city with intersectional crises and climate crisis at the fore, we need a leader not a capitalist

Why do Los Angelinos like living among the homeless and criminals? What is it about them that makes it so appealing?
