Please be on the lookout. Someone knows these people- and what they did is heinous and despicable. My heart goes out to this man and his loved ones going through this ordeal.

EDIT4: There are very few bags on the sprayground site that have a lower row of black shark teeth -- most are white. Because of this the possible bags are limited, IMO. I am second guessing my first choice, and am wondering if the MYSTERIOUS MASTERMIND BACKPACK (DLXV) is a better fit? Anyone find a better match?

EDIT3: I have reported my findings to the tipline listed on the flyer.

EDIT2: I've spent the past hour combing through the entire Sprayground backpack catalog, and the best match I can find is the INFINITI 3M BACKPACK (DLXV) At first I thought no way, but it was the only one I found where the figure/ground of the teeth and mouth matched. The more I stared the more I became convinced. Am I crazy? Someone have a better match? Here's why I think this is the one. Enough elements seem to match. Check out this diagram I made.

ORIGINAL COMMENT: One suspect has one of those stupid shark mouth backpacks I see kids on the train wearing. Googling it the brand is Sprayground, although the wanted poster says Bape. The demographic for those backpacks seems to skew younger than "early 20s," but I'm not up on streetwear trends among 20-somethings.

EDIT: god damn does the internet suck these days. The news article has the "have you seen these people" image as a tiny one that doesn't expand when you click it. Go to the LAPD website, and it is impossible to fine these supposedly critical "community alerts" anywhere.

Why are people so dumb? What's the allure of beating a random ass person just going about their day?

He needs to sue the Metro and the city for not providing security and the safety in these areas. I'm sure he will walk away with a lot of money and it will force the city to act and provide us citizens with safer transportation.

Racism is endemic in American culture.

Sometimes this phrase is easy to say, sometimes it results in thread locks and [removed by reddit]. Perhaps these kind of things wouldn't happen if we took racism seriously in this country regardless of circumstance. I digress, clean me up jannies my body is ready.

I wonder why the mods are wiping any mention of Black on Asian hate crimes, when even the LAPD is calling it a hate crime. I mean we all see the photos it’s not like people are just making it up.

Downplaying hate crimes against Asians really is prevalent across media.
