Just let me know when the strike is a few weeks out so I can plan a camping trip with the kids.

Cut 1/3 of the bureaucrats job and use that pay to increase salaries and hire more teachers, ez pz, I accept your nominations to be dictator.

LAUSD doesn't care about its teachers or its students. If you live in L.A don't work for the LAUSD and/or don't send your kid to an LAUSD school. I grew up in LAUSD schools in the 90s and they were absolute trash.

Does anyone have the stats on average LAUSD salary vs average salary in Los Angeles and cost of living?

The fact teachers ain’t being paid livable salaries and has to ask students to donate basic equipment such as paper is pathetic.

I left LAUSD when they did nothing when my kid was sexually assaulted by another student…in Kinder. And then denied my initial request to leave the district because “safety was not a legitimate reason to leave the district” (direct quote). LAUSD is a joke.
