L.A. Mayor Garcetti delivers State of the City, expected to propose nearly $1 billion to address homelessness
Faced with an out-of-control homeless crisis, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on Monday will propose spending nearly $1 billion in the coming year to get people off the streets, build housing and clean up squalid encampments that have spread into nearly every neighborhood in the city. STOP 🛑 supporting the laziest; get them jobs, city jobs like cleaning parks, freeways; HELP. the working people; stop welcoming homeless from another states
Government - well give you money, No strings attached. https://t.co/ZFpBIIExcI
Only beneficiaries will be those who find loop holes to get free $, lazy people who prefer to live in poverty then to have responsibilities & few people who actually needed. I'm $180k yr, no debt, good savs and can't afford a home, yet tons of undeserving ppl getting free $$
Ugh...f**king horrible idea. This is a bandaid you are supplying to a huge issue! Why are we dealing with this?! Alot of these ppl come from other states! Where is there assistance? Their taxes? You just keep shitting on us Garcetti! Just like the homeless shit on my yard! 😡

Teach them to fish, they eat forever!
Line up SHEEP and when it’s time to vote, don’t forget RE-ELECT Newsom & Garcetti!!!
we should all accept that the Mayor and the #LosAngeles metro authorities have performed miserably in terms of infrastructure spending, road repair, cleanliness, and, most significantly, #homelessness. #LA is rapidly degrading into a giant landfill. #FAIL
So, no string include being able to continue to live in a tent and being strung out on drugs?!! Sounds like a really great way to put the city in a bigger budget hole!
He's naming it, "Operation ship them over to SB and Riverside Counties".
Look at this clown giving tax dollars away that don’t belong to him . Give these people jobs make them clean up the city 40 hours a month for that 1000$ . You keep them productive, they earn it , and the city wins
Who are these 2,000 families and what are the qualifications? I have a feeling this money will go to those Garcetti favors and some of the most deserving of it won't get it.
