They should be fired, they also refuse to wear masks.

So much for “blue lives matter”, they don’t even wanna protect their own department officers. Covid is the leading death cause for officers, and are the most apprehensive. Ridiculous.

once again proving police and specifically los angeles police / sheriffs agencies believe they are above the law as a collective and individual.

Great, do what you want, but don't make me pay for your medical treatment if you get sick because you refused the vaccine.

I guess LAPD officers choose to get sick or die or spread Covid. What happen "to protect and to serve" ?? 🙄🤨

Find a new job if you don't want to get vaccinated and you were there to protect and serve so either roll your sleeve up or get the hell out of the job

Interesting for the 2nd consecutive year, COVID is the leading cause of death for police officers nation wide

What an example of community leadership, trust, and role models for young children. I guess their oath to “protect and serve” is biased.. LAPD you are no heroes if this is true. SMH 🤦🏻‍♂️

Unvaccinated workers lead to more exposure, sickness, and death.

They are In contact with countless others and can not be allowed to spread it further.

This is what it takes to end a pandemic and everyone should do all they can to return to some semblance of normal.

Covid 19 is the leading cop killer in the US. Why wouldn’t city council do what it could to protect the police force?

Why they had to get other vaccines to participate in society? Costco’s hiring security guards. https://t.co/zhenvLYigU

Why don't they quit and go work in Texas or Florida instead? It amazes me that they love the California pay and benefits but love to complain about the "liberal politics".

Sorry you deal with people on a daily basis. I have a right not to get sick from an interaction with a cop who refuses to be vaccinated.

they only protect and serve themselves. this is an affront to their badge, their sworn oath, and the city.

Says right there they can opt for the weekly covid tests if they dont want to be vaxxed.

Officers, I generally support you, making case-by-case exceptions only when you do something truly awful.

You are doing an awful thing by not being vaccinated. The public relies on you and must come into close contact with you (sometimes unmasked) in emergencies.

Please rethink

I like that you're kid-gloving this SLAPP lawsuit.

I mean, it's really obvious to everyone that this is just criminal intimidation, right?

Like, they're flat-out telling you that they will let you die/kill you if they have to be held to the same standard as the rest of us.

LAPD gets majority of city funds and covid funds. They can take the shot or not work with the public anymore

Would it be possible for citizens to sue the police department because we don't like the rules and laws they enforce?

How can they protect when they can expose other people to the virus?

Do I have this right? We have a number of officers, swore to protect and serve, who are going to sue because they want to refuse to protect?
