This article does a really terrible job of showing a scientifically proven link between the refinery and the rates of asthma and cancer in Wilmington. Wilmington also happens to be next to the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach which has massive container ships burning bunker fuel and lines of semi trucks that wait idling for hours.
