Derfel garnered the top prize recognizing journalism in the province for his work investigating the disaster at the Herron long-term care residence in Dorval.
C'est tellement important les bons journalistes, surtout maintenant avec la désinformation/propaganda partout.
His reporting is on point, but I really don’t like how he closes his Twitter threads with “Please limit your social contacts”. Pretty much this whole time the main drivers of the pandemic are schools and workplaces — which he points out every time.
A more apt closer would be “stay away from schools and limit your professional contacts”.
But I guess you don’t bite the postmedia hand that feeds.
