Heartbreaking. It goes to show what’s important in life. So easy to forget when you’re wrapped up in the holidays stressing about meaningless gifts and partying. The only things valuable are health and love.
With the insane drivers in this city, I wouldn't be surprised if a pedestrian or other driver is killed every week.
We probably just don't hear about it. This case is just particularly stomach turning.
The title made me think it was the mother who got fatally struck until I read the article… it could’ve been worded a little better.
This is tragic and sad, however. At least everyone supported and comforted the family via donations.
My god how heartbreaking. Good opportunity for everyone to take a minute and reflect on being safer drivers and to also be grateful for the family in your life because life is truly so fleeting.
