Queens DA Melinda Katz uses security detail ‘as her personal car service’: sources

Reminder that Katz has two kids with CURTIS SLIWA of all people, that she had with him while he was married to someone else. So her judgment will forever be suspect to me.

Unfortunately this isn’t very surprising. NYC politicians have a time honored tradition of using their security details like their own personal taskrabbit.

This is why all the housing laws act like changing apartments is as easy as changing laundromats.

Maybe politicians wouldn’t feel the need to travel with security at all times if they didn’t actively act in opposition to the interest of their constituents

Wasn't her election win super suspicious too? Like they found an extra box of votes to miraculously give her the win.

Not sure what the issue is. De Blasio had the NYPD move his kids for him. Where were all the progressive complaints then?
