He was last arrested on July 26th for a July 22nd robbery. He was released on July 27th. Four days later he slashed this woman with a box cutter.
The judge is Marty Lentz. Lentz was a DeBlasio appointee and career Legal Aid NYC criminal defense attorney.
These articles often say that the victim is expected to recover, which is itself a minimization of the crime and its effects. No scars? Ongoing nerve pain or muscle tightness? No long term psychological problems - PTSD - caused by an unprovoked attack in broad daylight?

If this is the same guy in WebCrims, he got a ticket for drinking and playing his music too loudly on the LIRR back in February, and was arrested for assault and robbery in Queens last week.
ETA: But it might not be the same guy. Anthony Evans is a fairly generic name.
ETA2: He was remanded and ordered to undergo psychiatric testing.
Why the majority of these attacks are Asians? Like how do they select victims like that

Walk the 1 mile radius of streets and avenues around Times Square. There are insane assholes on every block. Some are in a pile of their own filth. Some barking at the clouds in a psychotic rage. Something has to be done. The city is an open-air insane asylum.
