I am sorry that the residents in this Bronx neighborhood feel unsafe. I do sympathize. I feel the same way when it comes to my mother and do feel uneasy when she's late coming home.

Its amazing the first response is to police kids instead of addressing systemic reasons why theyre doing this. Do they have lit rec spaces to be at? Or good schools & access to decent jobs? The kids arent off the hook but they didn’t spring from a lack of police presence in NYC🙄
