The city testing sites that use Color really need a better booking experience. For an appointment, you have to pick one of two sites -- you can't opt for either. They then ask about 20 questions making sure they have your exact gender identity and orientation, only to then be shown there are no appointments available to book. Then, you can spend another 5 to 7 minutes to do the same for the other location only to be shown the same thing -- nothing available. How about just showing what's available up front, allowing you to snag it for 15 minutes while you enter your data?

Checking now, they seem to have shutdown completely for the day: "Color has suspended service through end of today in San Francisco"

US covid testing is broken. Free testing is hard to do and expensive for insurance companies or tax payers and paid testing slow. Friends in Europe have tests that are free at the doctor and results in 2-12 hours or you have like $5-10 at a drugstore and get results in 15 minutes.
