If Chesa's telling the truth, then nothing to worry about. We can fact check in about 34 days:

- The recall is being led by out of town billionaire republicans

- Crime is way down: “We’ve seen a pretty steady decline in the number of auto burglaries in San Francisco,” Boudin said. “We saw a 40% decline in my first year in office"

- It is impossible to prove a hate crime against an Asian, even when recorded on camera as saying "I hate Asians", because the victim is "white adjacent"

I find it pretty interesting that 27% of respondents don't support arresting people for property crime. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but even if you don't want to put people in jail and want to pursue some other form of rehabilitation, doesn't that still start with an arrest?

Interesting so many disapprove Breed. I really loathe her and good to know others do also. She has been a disaster.

Coming out above water in the poll is the San Francisco Police Department, which had 52% approval compared to 48% who disapprove.

That's the surprising data point among this survey. Who are these 52% of people who believe the SFPD is doing a good job, and which rock have they been living under? How much is rent under that rock?

I just hope he does get recalled. The fact that he’s now using the republican boogeyman and the trump playbook to save his ass might be a blueprint all the SF bozos start doing if it works.

Reasons why recall is widely supported:

Coming out above water in the poll is the San Francisco Police Department, which had 52% approval compared to 48% who disapprove.

Regarding the city’s biggest issues, 68% said homelessness is what they like least about living in San Francisco, 65% said they feel less safe than they did in 2019, 73% support arresting people who commit property crimes like smash-and-grabs, and 66% support forcing drug users into treatment who put others or themselves at risk.
