awesome.

Even if the Stonestown project is fully environmentally cleared and approved, that’s no guarantee it will actually be built. Less than a mile south on 19th Avenue, the 5,700 unit Parkmerced redevelopment, which was approved in 2014, has yet to break ground.

Stonestown is in an amazing situation.

Located in a rich, safe area, flanked by a huge University and a high school for employees.

Supermarkets, a theatre, and seemingly new restaurants opening every month. Skies the limit.

I really hope this happens and doesn't get stuck in development limbo for a decade. This is exactly the kind of development that the city needs to address housing affordability.

SFSU student here - This would be so awesome. I used to live across from trader joes in the UPN and that parking lot was always empty. Would be nice if they dedicated some of the housing for students.

This would be amazing! I hate hate hate huge parking lots, and Stonestown is one of the worst offenders in SF. Getting rid of all that parking would massively improve the area
