Just what we need! More expensive private clubs for wealthy executives.

Oh damn, thank god. I was worried rich female executives just didn't have a place of their own.

I "applied" to that club a few months ago because it gave me a LinkedIn advertisement, saying it was a network that I could meet other executives. They quickly responded and I was invited to an interview. The interview was just them hard-selling me and asking when I could enroll. I balked at the price, and they said my "excellent credentials" (I don't think she bothered looking me up) qualified me for a grant, for which I would receive a discounted membership.

Long story long, I did not end up enrolling. I may have been more interested if there were screening questions, or something to ensure quality of members. It's very clear from how they handled things that they're just trying to make money and expand quickly. Still, sometimes it'd be nice to have other women in similar situations to network with. I wouldn't mind a female mentor, for instance.

Exclusive to women or not, private clubs—especially those which costs thousands annually to be a part of—seem so silly and boring. Maybe they're doing some Stonecutters shit, though, idk...

Isn't there some guy who makes a lot of money suing women-only establishments since it's against state law?

Haha. This has such "more female drone pilots please" vibes.

Seems unnecessarily niche, but maybe I’m just jealous I won’t be able to get in.

There will be power struggles soon after it launches. And then it’ll be mostly lesbians. You read it here first.

Everyone needs to get their heads out of their asses. There’s nothing wrong with creating a club for a specific group. Women’s club, men’s club, black club, white club, WHO THE HELL CARES?
