Am I missing something? It seems like this is very overblown

Edit: side note but “environment” is spelled wrong in the mobile image banner for this post…”learning is fun in good envirment”

These people took their time of day to come out here to shit on Ann Hsu. Meanwhile they won't lift a finger to speak out on the 70 year old asian elderly assaulted by 4 young adults. They have the gall also to put up #stopblackhate when you see time and time again there are black kids assaulting asian elderly.

Honestly... the two issues are pretty similar when you think about it. The young black adults were failed by their parents and educational system from pursing active careers and instead pursue crime by beating up asian people. I bet if you took lessons from Ann Hsu's comments and created a culture around learning then maybe those kids would be in college or some shit and pursuing a career instead of beating up asian elderly.

This should be the end of the matter, but it won't be. The calls for her to resign will continue.

People will do anything to distract from the real issues, because they don't actually have a clue what to do about them.

Anyone else notice that sign that said "Learning is Fun in Good Envirment?" Bruh 😂

This is such nonsense. Nothing was ever done about Collins despite her abhorrently racist statements yet here they're treating Hsu like she committed a murder or something.

That "Learning is Fun in Good Envirment" sign just proves further that Hsu was right.

The irony is too much.

Man people are really looking for outrage here.

What she described (to the best of my knowledge) is a major factor in education and life outcomes for a lot of kids in minority communities, I imagine especially in urban areas.

Stable households are absolutely an issue. For example, something like 65-70% of black kids in the US grow up in a single parent household (depending on the source). That’s insane.

If we can’t talk about obvious circumstantial context in educational outcomes like this then we are far far gone.

"They cleared the room when opponents disrupted a Hsu supporter."

Something I saw here, something I saw during Ali Collins' bullshit and something I saw on a recorded video of a city meeting on safety

People really really like to interrupt when Asian American voters and people are talking

Like they literally have no respect for Asian residents and that their opinions don't matter

Where was the NAACP when it came to Alison Collins calling Asians "house ni**ers"...

Oh yeah, that's right, standing right next to her and supporting her $87 million lawsuit against the SFUSD.

Even if what she said was wrong (which i don't agree with). Why would you want to cancel her? I know the NAACP is going after her as well. Wouldn't you want to give someone a chance to learn and grow from their "mistake"? That's the thing i don't get about cancel culture, they never give people a chance to grow and learn.

Theres a huge difference between hsu parroting whats taught in every education class and collins going on an anti asian rant and calling them a bunch of racial slurs. Those who want Hsu out are the true racists.

Of course the person protesting her can’t even spell environment
