The driver of the vehicle, identified as Robert Green, was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries and investigators determined he had been allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of drugs. He was booked into jail upon release from the hospital on suspicion of DUI, vehicular manslaughter, reckless driving, speeding, and other violations, police said.

The guy is from Hayward. WTF is he doing in SF on drugs at 11am on a Monday???

Is this what it takes for the police to enforce traffic laws? People drive crazy around this city.

Maybe we should start charging people to drive downtown like they do in London and Singapore. Not for the revenue, but just to disincentivize rando driversfrom coming here for shits and giggles
