As someone who unfortunately flys way too much and has been to every major airport in the US, I wholeheartedly agree.

It’s tiny (compared to most other airports) so you can get from the Bart station to the gate in less than 10 mins, most of it is connected post security, plenty of good lounges/good food, taxiing time is pretty minimal, checked bags arrive really quickly, and there’s non stop flights to basically everywhere.

Oh, and security staff is always friendly and there’s never a precheck line.

Sure it doesn’t have the glamor of some international airports, but as someone who doesn’t want to take 2 trains, walk 1/2 a mile, and still have to take a bus to board a plane, SFO is amazing.

Of course. We have a yoga room and an on demand experimental film theatre. Water bottle filling stations and outlets everywhere. edit: really cool art everywhere too

Great compared to US airports, but lacking compared to most international airports... That's fine tho, it isn't a really a hub/transfer airport.

Ya the only thing wrong with it is that the parallel runways are too close together to allow for poor weather side-by-side landing and it’s super hard to figure out how to get to the area where you can get in an uber. (Side note, the taxi area is easy to get to and the price of a taxi is way cheaper than surge pricing uber/Lyft)
