Videos show sideshow on busy Embarcadero in SF, concerns rise over police response

A sideshow in the middle of the night at one of San Francisco's most prominent locations has raised questions about a slow response from police.

The San Jose police essentially blocked one sideshow event's spectators from leaving.
They essentially bottled the scorpions up. Seems like a tactic they should do here in SF.

Allegedly participants also caused the death of a delivery driver. Hit trailer, caught on fire - driver unable to escape. Hit and run.

Allow Uber for Narcs.
Report and provide evidence of Sideshow participation. If evidence is sufficient for prosecution issue permit for Repo companies to confiscate vehicles. Sell at auction and give narc % of $$$.
No additional police funding needed.
Sideshows go extinct.

This location, Washington at The Embarcadero, is literally the easiest place to bottle up in San Francisco. This is proof of the lackadaisical attitude from the Chief on down. The sense of entitlement to their bloated wages and benefits sickens me beyond polite words for a public forum.

How much can a few spike strips cost? Half the time this is on the bridge where there is only one way out.

All you need is a police helicopter raining down dog poop bags to put an end to this.

Typical SFPD. Always late to respond. It's like they don't want to do the work and make sure to show up after the crime is over.

its almost as if tolerating poor behavior begets more poor behavior.

But SFPDF claimed they couldn't enforce the law because of Chesa Boudin. Does it turn out they just don't feel like doing their jobs?

Couldn't SFPD send in their lethal robots to solve this?
Then the police officers themselves wouldn't be bothered.

Minimum jail and labor time for criminals and zpwctators. Most of these scumbags have weapons, violent and long list of past criminal history, and the cars are usually stolen / fake plates. People act like a $100 citation is going to stop them ...

Can the cops drop tear gas in the middle? They don't have to arrest anyone, just make it miserable to attend...
