Someone called it in the last post. Diversey Harbor. I am new to town but I feel well warned never to approach the water while intoxicated. It never occurred to me that that such simple act could end up like this.
I know a lot of the guy’s friends and family are keeping an eye on these posts so I just want to say sorry for your loss and I wish love and peace for you all.

This is so sad. I’ve been following this as best I can and I still don’t understand if this is him how he ended up there. It’s the opposite direction of where he was going I believe.
Edit: just saw reports that they confirmed it’s him. 😔

This is what we were all praying wouldn’t be the outcome.
To the friends and family, if they’re reading this post: sending you love and comfort. Nothing will make this easier. Be kind to yourselves and let others support you.

Baruch dayan ha'emet. Regardless of who it is, wishing comfort to their loved ones.

Please stay away from the water when you’ve been drinking, especially when it starts getting cold out. I said in the original thread he was likely in diversey harbor based on the location he disappeared from. So fucking sad but so avoidable

Crazy how many people have disappeared and found in the lake.

How did his phone continue to receive messages until 9:30 a.m. if he was in the water the whole time? I’m sure we’ll learn more in the coming days but a lot of this still doesn’t feel right
