Throwing shades hard

Twitter is going to declare bankruptcy. This is a standard tactic when you’re about to file for chapter 11. Their revenue is down 40% year on year, and their new debt service obligations are estimated at $1B annually due to the deal Elon made to acquire it. They weren’t even profitable last year, on top of all that. So unless Elon wants to dig deep into his Tesla equity piggybank (which he won’t do, especially since the stock price has tanked), they’re definitely going to go bankrupt. That doesn’t mean they’ll disappear as a company or product (they won’t), but this type of thing only makes sense if you’re about to file.

It's a tactic from the Donald Trump school of business. Don't pay your bills, draw it out in court and force the landlord to settle or make a new deal with lower rent.

I expect we will see a bankruptcy filing by Musk in the coming months.

It’s strange for a guy who hates work-from-home, one would think he would pay the office rent.
