S.F. supervisor floats plan to slash parklet fees

Too little too late, most have been ripped out already.

I was a fan of keeping them a couple years ago but so many have fallen into disrepair and/​or are so tagged up that they’re more an ugly reminder of a shitty time period than a benefit to street life. There are exceptions, but I don’t mind seeing them come down.

I’d rather see traditional outdoor seating on extended sidewalks in these spaces.
