Except the trip was originally scheduled from Nov 1-3...and last I checked, Halloween is Oct 31. So...yeah...
Halloween started and ended on 10/31 this year. The climate summit started on 10/31 and is still ongoing till this Friday. Can you news folks do a bit better job in finding out what his actual excuse of absence has been since he woke up on 11/1?

Governor Newsom doesn't need to explain why he takes a few days off, especially to Republicans. I'm happy everything is fine. Newsom is a family man, and he puts family above everything. That's how it should be.
