Trick or treating with his four children on Halloween trumped an international stage devoted to climate change, Gov. Gavin Newsom said Tuesday.

Good story, it took a week to come up with that?

And they said “daddy, you also can’t communicate to anyone or work or tell anyone where you are, ok daddy?”

That’s ridiculous. “The kids” are the inheritors of climate change and degradation of the biosphere. Instead they wanted Newsom to go trick or treating?

If you believe Newsom missed out a chance to be seen grandstanding on the world stage so he can spend Halloween with the kids - you Americans are stupider than my Greek relatives in Greece tell me you are.

Gosh think of a better lie, I had to go to a rich wedding, eat at fancy restaurants, all the things economically challenged can’t do to keep up appearances sounds better

Haha this guy has never missed an opportunity to be on TV. Newsom loves the attention all of sudden he turns all that down to suddenly decide to trick or treat. Not buying it.

Cool story Sparky but isn't Halloween literally one night. You were gone for 2 weeks. That was one heck of an intervention. Not believable you cancel a trip last minute to Scotland to attend the UN conference for a few Reese's and some Pixie Sticks. Admit the jab had you down.
