they definitely need to do away with the random covid testing - it's not only theatre but a sap on taxpayer cash; how much did switch get to exclusively run these tests at the airport.

We flew out to Vancouver on Wed - 8 am flight. Arrived at the airport for 5am. The lines were so long we almost missed out flight. We got lucky a new security opened up and got directed there. Based on my experience, I recommend to show up 4hrs in advance.

According to De Silva, these challenges reflect staffing shortages and outdated pandemic policies that create unnecessary delays
"The federal government needs to step up and fix this problem. There can be no more delays,"
"The CBSA will not compromise the health and safety of Canadians for the sake of border wait times. The agency thanks travellers for their collaboration and patience."
Frizzell says the federal government should urgently take action to address the challenges currently plaguing airports across the country.
Our federal government is so tone deaf it's not even funny.

But wait, our Federal Minister of Transport is blaming passengers for being slow with laptops and water bottles :(

Does anyone have experience flying at 10PM on a friday and if the lines are super long? They seem to be the worst in the morning. Someone said to check departures and see how many flights are taking off at the same time. I’ve also been checking catsa recently but it almost always says 5 ish minutes

I showed up 2 1/2 hours early for my domestic flight. Currently in line and will probably miss my flight. This isn't right

Billy Bishop all day!
F*ck YYZ, me and all my homies hate YYZ

Sounds like it’s the morning flights. Are they only this bad on weekdays or are the weekend morning ones just as bad? I have a Sunday flight at 8am in a couple of weeks and I’m wondering whether I should arrive at 3am.
