Mother of Ontario man missing nearly six months speaks out on concerns surrounding investigation

A year later, Toronto cops still have not implemented a SINGLE recommendation from the missing persons' case review that found serious flaws and systematic discrimination in how they handled missing people

I was wondering if there were any updates on the case. Most of the missing posters are gone now. So sad.

Not surprising.

My mom went missing almost six years ago. All TPS did was sent out a tweet with her picture. They eventually took a sample of my DNA but that was three years after she disappeared.

Cant think of anything worse than someone you love going missing- leaving you to wonder, with no certainty what has happened to them

Given the Toronto police track record, she’s get further doing her on own investigation.

Six months is a hell of a long time in a missing persons case. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t stalled at this point, as they’d basically be waiting for any new leads by now.

His poor mother. I saw many of the missing signs about him in my neighborhood, I can’t imagine how difficult it is to deal with a loved one just vanishing without a trace like that.
