Ford says Ontario getting health care it needs despite hospital department closures

As hospital departments across Ontario have been forced to shut their doors and scale back hours in recent weeks, Premier Doug Ford said Wednesday that the province’s health-care system is still meeting the needs of Ontarians.

He has always fucked over healthcare. Now his voters wonder why our hospitals are closing. So many faces being eaten.

Dougie boy proudly states his government added 3100 beds. Buddy, who is staffing them when ER and wards are already closing due to staff shortage? It's just furniture, collecting dust at this point. He also proudly claims he added 10500 healthcare workers, did he account for the thousands of nurses, doctors and allied health members that are leaving the profession in masses due to burnout?? We have so many vacancies on our unit right now. My manager keeps putting up job postings and trying to hire, but no one is applying and nurses continue to leave.
I also need to comment on this $5000 nursing retention rate he keeps throwing in the media. We received our first installment in June. After taxes, as a full time nurse, I got $1879. LOL, do you think this amount is enough to retain nurses? This is a joke.
Watching him lie through his teeth is insulting, not only as a healthcare worker but as an Ontarian.

He makes my blood boil. The quality of care patients are receiving is at jeopardy due to this man.

Hes going to let it fail.
The voters gave him the power to do that.

My heart breaks

As hospital departments across Ontario have been forced to shut their doors and scale back hours in recent weeks, Premier Doug Ford said Wednesday that the province's health-care system is still meeting the needs of Ontarians.
"I want to be clear, Ontarians continue to have access to the care they need, when they need it," Ford said at an announcement in Stratford, Ont.
Reads like the kind of quote the Beaverton would write. Maybe my family is the outlier and everyone else is having a peachy time accessing health care. But based on my family's experience the current system is far from adequate.

This fuck needs to resign and fall off the earth, it would do is all some good

We elected a clown, and the healthcare system got the ending of Joker.

I spent 18 hours at a Peel ER last week. Another covid wave, monkeypox, or just a high volume incident will crush our system.
In other words, everything is going according to plan for the corporate jackals that can't wait to devour the corpse of healthcare in this province.

How many billions did he give up sending out license plate sticker rebates that could have been spent on healthcare?

Fixed it.

I'm "lucky" enough to have a GP, but I haven't seen him in person in over three years. The last time I called his office (three weeks ago) the earliest appointment was more than a month out. Even his "same day, emergency" appointments that he keeps available were all full. How am I getting the care I need when I'm instead visiting the walk-in clinic, seeing a different doctor each time?
Who is eating this bullshirt?

Doug Ford is a liar???
Tell me it ain't so!

"I know you are, but what I am?"
