‘I don’t like this deal:’ Walton says tentative agreement between CUPE and the province still falls short

"I think this deal falls short and I think it’s terrible that we live in a world that doesn’t see the need to provide services to kids that they need,” said Laura Walton, president of CUPE's Ontario School Board Council of Unions (OSBCU).

Only thing the Union is doing is trying to get more union members! They don't care a bit about the Children, taxpayers or the actual education system!

It’s not right. We all know that, Laura. Just ask the ER nurses. And Trudeau sends billions out of the country, calling himself a hero for it. And the ANNUAL interest on national debt: $49 billion, and rising. That’s a lot of education, and healthcare. #TrudeauMustGo

Resign then if you feel that strongly. I won’t hold my breath. 🤣

I don’t like Laura Walton whom I don’t think cares about the kids at all she’s just trying to make a name for herself at the children and workers expense.

Again. The fact that this is always a public debate is ludicrous. We don’t openly debate cops or firefighters, carpenters or steelworkers contracts. STOP talking about things you think you know based on being a student at one time in your life. Make Ed staff essential

a lot more need their own parents raising them for starters. It s what you sign up for when you parent children. And no bullying allowed at home, especially between siblings..

"I failed to negotiate a contract after I demanded a huge raise and settled for 67% less."
