‘This campus isn’t safe’: Following a string of sexual assaults inside a Toronto university, the school’s response is under fire
A Toronto Metropolitan University official said the campus is safe and TMU has increased security in the building where two people were attacked.

Doesn't help that the areas surrounding TMU is sketchy to say the least. There is a safe injection side connected to one of the buildings on campus that the university shares. Then there are the halfway homes just east of it a couple of blocks.
For better rather than worse, this is probably a good case for more extensive use CCTV and AI.

Really sickening that the second (alleged) rapist was let out on bail and is in the wind now - article says a warrant was issued in December. He was out on release when he committed the sex assault ffs.
