Before more reports or people commenting about the need for mental health awareness. This particular “incident” isn’t a mental health issue- it’s a shitty parenting issue.

How dare you post a story about crime in Toronto?!?!?!?
Don't you know this city is entirely and perfectly safe and no one is ever in danger ever and all you're doing is playing into some media agenda and brigading from other subs?!?!?
Oh save us Mods! Save us please!! Rule 8 enforcement right away.

I always tell my partner that I’m scared of teenagers and he laughs… now I have proof that teenagers are absolutely terrifying

Legit I avoid all ttc buses between 3-4pm. When the kids get on after school, it’s a nightmare. Teen Boys and girls are all in competition to get the most attention and there are no rules. It’s the absolute worst.

These types of random attacks with no reason are a safety concern to the public.
Blocking these posts cause "crime post make you sad and the city is 100% safe" just reeks of white male upper class previlege.

copycat of teen girls swarming and killing Ken Lee?
This will put the city even MORE on edge!

To the mods that are reading why was the post from yesterday removed?

A women got stabbed multiple times on the ttc today and yet we have no where to discuss it. Wtf is wrong with this sub! Mods have got to go.

It's turning into Oliver Twist out there. Everyone needs a switch or reed for batting away swarms of street urchins.

Let’s not forget that these crimes and violent crimes in general are spiking because the perpetrators KNOW there’s about a zero to zero percent chance they’ll be punished. There is no incentive for them to NOT do this.
It is time to bring in mandatory minimum sentences for violent crime. Doesn’t matter if you’re 15, 25, 45, or 75. Any sort of violent crime should come with a bare minimum 10 years in prison with zero chance of being let out earlier. Every young offender found guilty of a violent crime MUST be publicly named. It’s sickening that Canada chooses protecting these sub-humans over protecting the greater good good of society.
This country is a disgrace. We should all be downright embarrassed to be Canadian!
Of course our judges don’t care about you or me or the general public or victims. They’re only concerned with protecting criminals and getting them back on the streets as soon as possible.

The Union and the TTC were silent when citizens were attacked, but now when à driver is attached. They open their mouths.
In a society where we kowtow to everyone's self-perceived/diagnosed emotional issues, this is the kind of stuff that happens. Nobody is held accountable anymore for being a shitty person, their wrongdoings are now just looked at as if it's a consequence of something to do with society that is out of their control.

When did Toronto turn into NYC? Poverty everywhere, and the behaviour that goes with it.
