Seems like no one ripping on this guy have ever dealt with Air Canada at Pearson. Get back to me when you've waited 45 mins for a wheelchair for a mobility-impaired senior, only to then have to search for staff at 1am.

I think I met some of these not so great employees at Pearson a few weeks ago.

If a “celeb” complains he’s a miserable whiner.

But if a Reddit nerd complains and whines here he/she gets extreme support

You would figure most of the issues is understaffing and that can be easily fixed but no Air Canada is putting more workload on current workers and expect them to cope with the amount of anger passengers throws at them.My nephew works as a baggage handler for AC and his crew is still down two workers during a shift.Been like this for 9 months and no signs AC is rushing to fill those spots.

Before you judge this guy, try taking an AC flight to the US from Pearson and see how you turn out the other side.

The reality of airline business…

If you have ever travelled on Asian airlines such as Japan Airlines, ANA or Korean Air, there is a stark difference compared to Air Canada and many other North American Airlines.

The level of service, quality of food and personal care are superior to that of Air Canada.

JAL domestic travel in particular is even more attentive because the customers demand it.

But Air Canada is not the worst; it’s passable. What really is totally fubar (outside of the airlines control) is Pearson baggage handling system. It’s insane

I just took AC last night. The crew was definitely far from cheerful and bubbly lol

This guy doesn’t miss an opportunity to complain. He seems just as miserable as the people he complains about.

Edit: his old Reddit account is a doozy article

I liked this guy for sticking up against anti-Asian racism so it kinda surprises me to see how he apparently has a reputation to be whiny. I don't know enough of him so I'll shut up.

Maybe it's because they have a stressful job and deal with plenty of jerks all day. I imagine working at an airport, especially Pearson, to be unbelievably stressful. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth when a rich person complains on their socials about people who don't get paid enough and take a lot of shit.

Seems like a “do you know who I am” type of guy.

At first, I didn't see the colon and thought this said "unpleasant and miserable actor Simu Liu..."

Maybe he should spend a week working for AC in a customer facing role and having to be the whipping boy for every delay, lost luggage, long line up and canceled flight (that he himself did not cause). Let’s see how cheerful he would be after the first day.

This is not news. I mean, the Harry Potter actor posted that AC is the worst airlines in the world. Lol

Funny... I filled in a post-flight survey 2-weeks ago and pretty much said the same thing.

These are over worked, and underpaid front line staff who are most likely burned out over the previous 3 years. Try to have a little more understanding of the real world.

Flying has been pretty rough with the self-inflicted labor shortage at Pearson. My flight was cancelled with no refund (Flair, not Air Canada)
