I love Sarah Polley. Such chutzpah to say "First of all, I want to thank the academy for not being mortally offended by the words 'women' and 'talking' so close together like that — cheers.”

Every time I hear Sarah Polley's name it's just an immediate nostalgia trip back to Road to Avonlea on CBC Sunday nights in the early 90's.
Amazing to see her be recognized again by the Oscars, and to actually win this time. Honestly hadn't even heard of the movie, but will have to check it out.

Worked on her old TV show ,"Ramona" a real pro even then, whom could memorize 20 minutes of lines.
