Ontario stopped enforcing credentials in skilled trades, right after Doug Ford took power

For three years running, Ontario has not enforced its rules requiring tradespeople such as electricians, auto mechanics and plumbers to be certified, CBC News has learned.

When PC voters in rural and suburban Ontario find that their homes are blown away by tornadoes, like in Barrie, it will probably be because they were built improperly by unlicensed carpenters and because the PCs gutted enforcement and derided building inspection as red tape.

I guess @fordnation needed a family member or a buddy to finally get that job they so desired, so had the credentials eliminated for them to finally qualify.
