Anti-vaccine protests could prove to be a shot in the arm for reforming Toronto police

After the non-response to anti-vaxxer harassment, questions of whose side the police are on have moved into the mainstream.

We matter too and right now we cannot schedule surgeries because of antivaxxers. @TorontoPolice and all law enforcement across Canada are failing us 🤬

Not that I disagree with the sentiment but who exactly is going to initiate this reforming if the implication is that local politics are all complicit in the bullshit.

The police should have been told that these protestors were homeless, and that a large corporation wanted them to be cleared to make room for a massive unaffordable condo.

The police sure moved on the tents in city parks in Toronto. Didn’t have to order twice. Homeless people are easy pickings.

They aren't "anti vaxx" protests; they're anti MANDATORY vaxx and MANDATORY passport protests.

#YellowJournalism is propaganda.

The police are the anti-vaxxers too. That's why they won't touch them.

Move to the USA if you want to be like the January 6th “protesters”. I’m sure those same folks down there would gladly accept you into their cults. Just remember to drink the purple juice and do us all a favour

They’ve literally done nothing to stop blatant violations of health orders by these #antivaxxers as they paraded through streets during the lockdown. What a joke.

‘Anti vaccine protests could be a shot in the arm’ - I see your pun and I appreciate it.
